Reflecting On A Great 2019
As another successful year for SEO it Right draws to a close, we thought it would be a good idea to take a look back at our highlights from the past 12 months. We hope you enjoy!
A Year of Change
Firstly, 2019 has been a year of change for the agency, as two new starters have joined the SEO it Right ranks this year.
Edd and Caroline have assumed the roles of Digital Marketing Executive and Office Manager, respectively, and have settled into the team well.
Besides this, an array of new and exciting clients have come on board, and we are looking forward to working with them more closely in the new year.
And Celebration…
April was a month of great celebrations, as our Digital Marketing Executive, Taylor celebrated her 22nd birthday and the agency celebrated its 9th anniversary.

Rather fittingly, in tandem with the turn of the decade, the agency will celebrate its 10th birthday in 2020. As part of our 10-year celebrations, we will be looking to work with a local charity to make a positive contribution to our community.
Speaking of which, in the run-up to Christmas this year, our team pulled together to make a very kind donation of food parcels to Great Barr Foodbank, a local charity who are striving to tackle food poverty in Birmingham. We also celebrated Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day by playing a few games of pin the nose on James Blunt.

Additionally, we attended the Little Princess Charity Ball in the summer, which was held in aid of the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Oncology Ward. It was a great event to be a part of, as just under £10,000 was raised for the hospital!

Our Blogs
With regards to our blogs, we started the year off by telling you to commit to digital marketing in 2019 and that message is still very relevant for next year. This year, the world has witnessed a meteoric rise in the importance of digital marketing, particularly social media marketing, with regards to building brand awareness and connecting with customers.
A large majority of businesses, both big and small, are now moving their attention away from traditional forms of marketing, like TV advertising, and are investing heavily in digital campaigns.
One strategy that a lot of brands are using to stand out and drive engagement is paid advertising, which is something that we alluded to at the start of 2019. However, as a result of increased monetisation on social media, the organic reach that brands can achieve on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram has declined. This has allowed platforms like LinkedIn and Tik Tok to emerge as big players in the social media marketing sphere and has also required brands and marketers to pay more consideration to the content they are sharing.
As organic reach continues to be a problem for brands, what does 2020 hold for social media marketing?
Finally, we ended the year thinking about the future of SEO and what impact voice search technology, like Siri and the Amazon Echo, will have on content marketing.
Thank You!
To summarise, 2019 has been a great year for SEO it Right and we are very thankful to all of our clients for making it so special.
As we must now plan ahead for the new year, we would like to thank you for your continued support, and we hope you have a prosperous 2020.
